The East Main Antiques Crawl in Dahlonega

The short answer

Dahlonega's antique row is East Main Street: Antiques and Collectibles at 35, Gold City Antique Gallery at 60 and Gateway Antique Mall at 75, with Reclaimed Rose on North Grove and No. 3 Vintage on the Square. The three malls are known only from directories, so call ahead. Here they are side by side, with a loop in address order.

East Main Street is Dahlonega’s antique row. Three multi-dealer antique malls sit at 35, 60 and 75 East Main, with a used bookstore at 85, and a vintage shop and a “vintique” boutique a short walk away on the Square and North Grove Street. Here they are side by side, with what each source says and which ones you should call first.

One warning up front: all three East Main malls are known to us only from the downtown and Visitors Bureau directories. None has a working website of its own, so their hours are directory hours, not confirmed by the shops. Call ahead before a special trip.

The three East Main malls

Antiques & Collectibles, 35 East Main

The closest of the three to the Square. Its listing in the Dahlonega DDA directory says it has “over 100 booths full of vintage.” That is the mall’s own directory text, not something we could check on a site of its own, because it has none. The DDA lists Sunday afternoon hours; call (706) 864-9024 to confirm.

Gold City Antique Gallery, 60 East Main

The DDA lists it as a multi-vendor antique gallery. Other maps put a different name on 60 East Main, so if you are navigating by sign rather than number, call (706) 482-0160 first.

Gateway Antique Mall, 75 East Main

The DDA directory says Gateway has been open for over 15 years and holds “around 9,000 square feet” of antique and vintage merchandise. Its old website is gone and the Visitors Bureau lists it too, so it is in both directories but neither confirms its current hours. Call (706) 867-8816.

Just off East Main

Reclaimed Rose, 75 North Grove

The one antique shop in this cluster with a working site. Reclaimed Rose calls itself Dahlonega’s “vintique boutique,” with antique furniture, original art, vintage decor and jewelry just off the Square. It also offers a la carte furniture refinishing and restoration, per its About page, which is worth knowing if the piece you love needs work. It does not publish hours online, so call (706) 887-1951.

Bear Book Market, 85 East Main

A new and used bookstore at 85, the highest number on this list, per its own site. The Visitors Bureau lists it at 21 North Grove Street instead, so confirm before you go. It is also the one shop here with published hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and no Wednesday listed.

No. 3 Vintage, on the Square

At 106 Public Square North, the DDA lists antique and vintage goods alongside gifts, home decor and handmade art and jewelry. It takes the DDA’s Dahlonega Dollars gift card. Directory-only again, so call.

Two more stops for vintage-minded shoppers: Studio Jewelers on Public Square North sells estate jewelry “selected and restored,” per Studio Jewelers, and Cranberry Corners on North Park Street lists antiques among its gifts.

A loop in address order

Start on the north side of the Square at No. 3 Vintage (106 Public Square North), then head east on Main: Antiques & Collectibles at 35, Gold City at 60, Gateway at 75 and Bear Book Market at 85. Finish at Reclaimed Rose, 75 North Grove Street. We do not publish walking times; for minutes and the route on a map, use the Shopping Day Planner.

Because five of these six do not publish hours online, the order matters less than the phone calls. Make them the day before, and you will not walk to a dark window.

Why we keep saying call ahead

Directory listings are not dated, and we found several that no longer match a shop’s own site: wrong suites, old phone numbers, different hours. For the three East Main malls and No. 3 Vintage, the directory is all there is. We list them because both the DDA and the Visitors Bureau still carry them, not because we could confirm a Tuesday afternoon. A two-minute call is the only check that counts.

Budget for tax as well: the sales tax rate in Lumpkin County, including Dahlonega, is 8%, per the Georgia Department of Revenue chart effective October 1, 2026. We do not list prices; ask each dealer.

Getting big finds home

Parking on and around the Square is free, per the Dahlonega DDA. The city’s parking map marks 15-minute loading spaces and accessible spaces on East Main Street, per the City of Dahlonega, handy for loading a piece of furniture. If it will not fit in the car, the UPS Store #3434 on Walmart Way, about 1.5 miles from the Square, says it can pack and ship fragile items such as antiques, per The UPS Store. It lists Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and no Sunday hours.

For every antique and vintage shop we could confirm, including the cards and hours status, see our antiques and vintage guide.
